What to expect
We start with a consultation. I look at your hair's condition and what it will realistically hold, and we agree on how much curl you actually want — most men want less than they think. The perm itself takes a couple of hours. You'll leave with curl that looks like it grew that way, not like it was done to you.
A men's perm holds for weeks and grows out soft, without a hard line.
How to care for your perm
The first two days matter most. Leave it alone — no washing, no tight hats, nothing that crushes the curl while it sets.
After that: a sulfate-free shampoo, and less washing than you think you need. Go easy on heat — if you blow-dry, use a diffuser on low rather than blasting it. Scrunch, don't comb; a brush pulls the curl straight out. I'll tell you exactly which products suit your hair before you leave, so you're not guessing in the aisle.
